GP Practices

Help to get started

We will take care of all the details and can get most practices up and running within a week. After that, it takes no special skill or effort to run GPTeamNet.

I didn't know the baby clinic was cancelled next week!

We can never seem to get the whole team together

We really should keep a log of two week wait referrals but it's not easy to organise ...

I can't quite remember what we agreed about prescribing that ...

I was sure I had that in an email somewhere ...

Nobody ever tells us nurses what's going on ...

Sorry about this, I can't quite remember what the file was called ...

I think Jane has all the QOF stuff ... not sure where she keeps it ...

I am sure we are missing out on some DES payments. Can we track them?

No-one told me the fees had been updated!

GPTeamNet is already set up with a tried and tested structure, including preconfigured roles (Editors, Doctors, Nurses, etc.) and common information such as:

  • Useful web links
  • Registrar training support and MRCG guidance
  • Current QOF specifications
  • And more - the list grows all the time

To set you up, we will:

  • Establish your private intranet area
  • Apply your practice logo (if you have one)
  • Pre-load all your users and staff
  • Pre-load library documents, audits, SEAs and other data (you will need to provide these as files and, ideally, tagging information in our standard spreadsheet format)
  • Create your standard surgery and clinic timetables

As well the standard services, we can provide a little extra help to get you really well established. This is optional and charged at a simple day rate. For example:

  • Bulk loading and conversion of information from other sources (other systems etc.)
  • User training. Most people won't need any training beyond a few minutes introduction. If you wish, we can provide training for the person or people who will administer the intranet (this usually takes less than an hour).

Get in touch - it will be easier than you think.
