Appraisals Module
In addition to the huge range of efficiency savings provided by the core system, the optional GP Appraisal support module available helps GP’s (and others) reduce the burden of gathering your evidence - and submitting it when appraisal time comes round.
Gathering the Evidence
A lot of the evidence you collect is already in your practice and, naturally, already there in the core GPTeamNet system. Educational meetings for the whole practice (or group) can be entered once. Each GP can add their own reflection without having to hunt around for, or re-enter, the meeting details, agenda and actions. Significant Events, audits, web sites and documents are processed the same way, with each individual adding their own learning experience to shared information.
The Appraisal module will maintain your personal evidence list through the year. Or, for those who find themselves preparing evidence in a rush at the end of the year, makes it easy to locate and select items for inclusion.
As well as logging each item of evidence (along with reflection, category and time taken), you can optionally record and track your PDP targets. You can also cross-reference each PDP goal with the evidence items that supported that specific goal.
Submitting the Evidence
There are several “toolkits” to tackle appraisal and revalidation for GPs. The GPTeamNet Appraisal Module is designed to complement any of these. It can even be used to print a paper submission for those who prefer to do that!
